The Tara Golf Course masterfully meanders through the hillsides of the Sumter National Forest, around Lake Thurmond, and throughout the established community of Savannah Lakes Village. The rolling topography of the land is gradually exposed throughout your round, with stately oaks and pines perfectly framing each hole.

River Grille

Guests of the Tara and Monticello Golf Clubs are welcome to visit the River Grille restaurant. You will be provided with a special pass when registering in the golf shops on the day of your tee time that will grant full use of our clubs' food & beverage services. The hours vary with season and our busy events schedule. Please note, the Tara Club is routinely closed on Mondays. Reservations are required for dinner but not for lunch.
