Golf Operations Reminders:
Winter Golf Shop hours are from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., tee times starting at 9:00 a.m. Golf Carts must be in by 5:15 p.m.
Monticello Golf Shop and Course are closed on Tuesdays.
Tara Golf Shop and Course are closed on Mondays.

SLV is a member-owned, master planned community that is governed by a member-elected board of directors. There are some important limitations and guidelines that help protect the value of the homes, land, and waters that comprise SLV. “I have a listing now. Where do I start?”
So you have earned the trust of a property owner who wishes to sell their listing. Congrats! That's a great first step. All listing agents are encouraged to market their listed properties. However, the yard signs you normally use elsewhere are probably not going to be allowed in our community. There are strict aesthetic requirements and guidelines that don't allow for traditional real estate signs, directional signs, sign toppers etc. We have some guidelines for you to follow, including sign dimension and design guides. It may feel restrictive, but trust us...between MLS data and the absence of other commercial or political signs in the community, Real Estate Visitors will be easily able to find the listed property.All questions about on-property marketing of real estate should be directed to our Community Services department. When a prospective buyer contacts you to schedule a showing at SLV for the first time, we would invite you to visit our office on Highway 378 to meet our staff and get your bearings. In addition to putting faces with names, we have some information we want to provide including Discovery Tour cards, maps, scheduling information, and other details that will be helpful.
Discovery Tour Cards
We want anyone considering property ownership at SLV to experience the community as if they are already members when they visit. To help facilitate that, we will provide you with Discovery Tour Cards. These cards, available upon request for local real estate agents at our main office on Highway 378, help identify your prospective buyer as a real estate visitor. Our staff at our private amenities will know to greet your visitor appropriately, and this card ensures they will receive member privileges during the dates of their Discovery Tour at Tara Golf Club, Monticello Golf Club, River Grille, The Pub, Monti's, The Village Café and the Recreation Center during staffed operating hours.
Please note: Real Estate Visitors are not allowed to utilize the after-hours access program at the Recreation Center. Real Estate Agents who are also SLV Property Owners and who utilize the after-hours access program at the Recreation Center may indeed be accompanied by Real Estate Visitors in the same way as they would with any other guest visiting the community.

What is included with a Discovery Tour?
Holder Benefits
Prospective property owners holding these cards are considered Discovery Tour Guests during the dates of their visit. They are invited to enjoy the following:
- One complimentary round of golf per guest (max 2 guests per Discovery Tour) at each golf course.
- Complimentary access to use the Recreation Center during the dates noted on the card (maximum of three days).
- Opportunity to purchase full food & beverage service including alcohol at the clubhouses.
Should You Accompany Your Guests at All Times?
Each itinerary is different, and each prospect is different. We have found that the most successful agents develop strong relationships with their clients. If an agent is a golfer and can spare the time, enjoying the round of golf with the prospect can be a great way to foster that relationship and help answer questions about the community. Similarly, dinner or coffee together can be another good relationship building approach. We recommend you use your best judgment and employ the practices that work best for you over time.That said, you aren't required to accompany your guest at all times. Should you need to allow your guest to explore the community unaccompanied, please make sure to provide them with their Discovery Tour Guest card. Please note, real estate guests may enjoy the Recreation Center only during regular staffed operating hours; the after-hours access program is for current SLV members only.
